As a French/American citizen, I have acquired superior knowledge in the international trade environment having lived and worked in Europe, in the Americas and more recently in the Middle-East.

In a few words

 

From 2000 to 2012 as Regional CEO for DHL Global Forwarding I have built the major logistics organization in Latin America with a revenue exceeding USD$1.5 billion in 2011. During this tenure, I have driven mergers and acquisitions, integrations and massive organic growth.

In 2013 I joined Damco, the logistic arm of the Maersk Group to first lead its Latin America region out of Panama and then the newly formed region of IMEA ( India,Middle East and Africa ) based out of Dubai .

I am now back in the Americas to leverage my experience and support trade and logistics corporations in building outstanding cross-cultural teams, plotting their future and expanding globally .

Fluent in Spanish, English and French, I hold a Master’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Provence in France and have completed the Senior Executive Program from the IESE Business School.

I am an innovative and passionate executive, entrepreneur and thought leader with more than 20 years of global success across the logistic, forwarding, specialty courier, supply chain, healthcare and life sciences industries.

In a few words

 

David held various leadership positions in the industry and co-founded LifeConEx in 2005, a joint venture between DHL and Lufthansa Airlines for bio-pharma international logistics.

In 2006 he became the CEO of the company and led its M&A activities with DHL in 2012 for substantial network expansion.  During his tenure, he grew the start-up to a globally recognized premier provider of end-to-end temperature-sensitive logistics management solutions with nearly a half billion-dollar annual sales serving the healthcare industry with 100+ stations in 65 countries.

David also served as a Member of the Board of Rx-360, a patient safety and product integrity advocacy group for two years till the end of 2018. Since March 2019, he has been named as a Member of the Board at MaxQ Research, a leader in revolutionary shipping systems for sensitive biologics, became Managing Partner of SIG Consulting to coach start-up investors, founders and executives, and joined Hellmann Worldwide Logistics as Global VP Strategic Development effective July 2019.  

Effective September 2020, David has started serving as a Member of the Board / Secretary of Rx-360’s newly established Education and Research Foundation 501 (c)(3) and as Vice Chair of Team Poseidon Steering Committee to promote integrated, standardized, and aggregated pharma/healthcare ocean-freight logistics worldwide.
